Safety Contact Strips for AGV and
Presence Sensing Applications

PACIFIC) - Safety contact strips are used as presence sensing of
gates, Automatic Guided Vehicles, handling equipment at possible
crushing or pinch points.
Omron STI introduces the revolutionary new SGE Series Contact
Strips. These profiles are patented world-wide and they offer
improved technical characteristics such as integrated actuating
element to provide fast and accurate response.
A complete unit which consists of an aluminum rail, safety
contact and safety strip are available. When connected to the
SCC Strip Controller, shorts or wire breaks along the strips can
be detected as well.
