EN/IEC Standards

We issue documentation ("EC Declaration of Conformity") providing details on the level of conformance. Contact your OMRON representative if required.

UL Certifications

Note:

1. The above table lists series names. Ask your OMRON representative for details on specific model numbers.

2. Products that are certified for UL 1604 can be used in hazardous locations for Class I, Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, and D.

Description of Hazardous Locations:
[Class]
　　　Class I: Locations in which flammable gases or vapors may be present in the air in sufficient quantities to be explosive or ignitable.
　　　Class II: Locations in which combustible dust is present.
　　　Class III: Locations in which easily ignitable fibers or flyings are present
　　　but are not airborne in sufficient quantities to ignite.
[Division]
　　　Division 1: Locations in which explosive or ignitable material is normally present or is present at certain times.
　　　Division 2: Locations in which explosive or ignitable material is not normally present (but may accidentally exist).
[Group]
　　　Class I:
　　　Group A: Acetylene
　　　Group B: Combustible gas/vapor, example: hydrogen
　　　Group C: Combustible gas/vapor, example: ethylene
　　　Group D: Combustible gas/vapor, example: propane

Note:

2. NS-series PTs are certified for the bridge.
    When using an NS-series PT on the bridge, attach a noise filter and an electromagnetic shield.
　　Use the TAH-06-683 from Cosel Co., Ltd., for the noise filter.
　　Use the E09F-100 or E09R13502P from Seiwa Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd., for the electromagnetic shield.
　　Refer to the product manuals for details.
3. Model certification has not been received for usage on the deck, in the bridge (except for NS-series PTs), or in locations subject to strong vibration.

NK Certification (Japanese Marine Standards)

Note:
