Low-cost safety measures using temperature control redundancy in the frying process.

Low-cost redundant temperature control monitoring for fryers is performed by using two Temperature Controllers.

• Oil Level Sensor: Detects the oil level and turns OFF the gas burner when the level gets too low.

• E5CN: Turns the heater ON and OFF to keep oil temperature at 160°C. It alerts workers by outputting an alarm signal and sounding an alarm when the oil temperature exceeds 180°C.

• E5C2: Closes the shutoff valve and turns OFF the gas burner when the oil temperature exceeds 200°C.


Using an E5C2 for temperature monitoring to prevent overheating enables low-cost temperature management redundancy.
